sad to say NO , I don't need any of those machines , I was offered the unipoint for free 6 months ago

I didn't want it , so it ended up here.

My shop is closing in DEC, and everything will be sold off then or put into storage

though I can't seem to stop buying this stuff

I think I'll be coping ya slightly on the southbend , going with platnum(sp?) and black

did you use white or off white , semi gloss or gloss

gotta be slightly different

funny to see , we're placed in the top 5 for restorations

you,myself and Jack Grin.gif

this month alone

powermatic 12" ped disk sander ,...............already restored

Wadkin MF chain/chisel mortiser, ...............half way done the retoration

southbend 10 metal lathe , just got it home yesterday

though I've been thinking that clausing DP would look nice in here, but I don't use

the 3 DP's I already own .

it's a sickness

My Southbend is gray and gray, mostly dark gray and some a shade lighter for some contrast ... Dan has the sweet looking white one.

I usually use a gloss unless it's black and then I like the satin finish.

That Clausing, which is one of my quest machines, would be a sweet dp to pick up.

Hutch,

That's not a scrapyard. That's my birthday and christmas and summer vacation all rolled up into one. I see some parts that I've spent years looking for. Are all of the scrapyards in your neck of the woods this packed with old machines?

Hutch,

I could use some parts off the unipoints. There's a dovetailed bracket that holds the motor/head to the ram. I need two of those. Could also use a motor, although I suspect those will be 550 Volts. Agree with Shane on the Clausing. They are really nice drills. That Oliver shaper isn't too shabby either.

I'll check it out , depending on what time I'm heading through

and wether I can convince him to part them out

can ya post a picture of this braket

yes the motors on the Unipoints as well as the clausing are all 575/3

almost everything pictured was 575/3 , that why they ended up  scraped

gotta head down to see Bob , in VT soon
